One thing I absolutely love about having a Maker Coin celebrating failures is people feel comfortable and free to share their mishaps and failures making the coin. Thingiverse user Waldamore brought me absolute delight this morning with this Make.
I have had nozzle offset mishaps too. : )

By request for a community member, there is now an English version of the “From Failure Comes Knowledge” Maker Coin. That version is “maker-coin-english.stl” in the files section on Thingiverse.
Thingiverse user lelopes logged a hilarious “make” of my From Failure Comes Knowledge Maker Coin! Technically, it was a failed Benchy, but it failed in a manner almost identical than what was depicted on my Maker Coin.
I got a good kick out of it. Here’s a comparison of the two (I flipped his picture).

3D Benchy is arguably one of the most well known prints out there and it is commonly used for calibration and testing out a printer’s capabilities. It is no surprise that 3D Printing Industry did an article on the Jolly 3D Printing Torture Test.

In December, I did a last minute contribution to the A Pyro Design Maker Coin Holiday Tree. In my coin, I wanted to celebrate the failures that comes along with learning 3D Printing.
