I finally had a little bit of breathing room after Cyber Week and was able to catch up on some of the YouTube streams. I started with Lauren from Abuzz Designs. It was particularly topical as she was discussing Etsy. I was playing it in the background while I worked and suddenly heard my name. Thank you, Lauren, for such a kind shout out!
Extra Prints to Use – Sophia
Last spring, I printed a number of names for a Girls Who Code Event. I inadvertently printed an extra SOPHIA. Rather than let the name sit around indefinitely in my office, I asked if anyone knew a SOPHIA on Twitter. Lo and Behold, Joe Larson, the 3D Printing Professor, knew one and was able to give my extra print a home. (He even printed a companion piece for her sister). It made me smile to see Joe’s report today that the SOPHIA has reached its home.
The girls love their name tags, @TGAW. I did print out the other, but she took it home. pic.twitter.com/YAiMIJ87jo

Surprise PokeStop in AstroPrint Video on SAND!
I fell in love with this tweet by AstroPrint immediately. He was filling a print with Sand, an experiment near and dear to my heart. And then, I saw it! My Spinning PokeStop Model in his video!
Have you ever tried filling your prints with Sand (or something heavy) to add weight to a print?
